The connecting (one car) tramway to the Dolder Funicular in front of the famous Dolder Grand. This picture was taken in 1911. in 1937 the tramway had been replaced by a bus service to the funicular terminus Waldhaus. Since 1970 the opening of the new cog railway enabled the passenger to reach the Dolder Grand Hotel without changing.
Die Strassenbahn, welche die Verbindung zur Standseilbahn herstellt, vor dem Dolder Grand Hotel. Das Bild stammt aus dem Jahre 1911. Im Jahre 1937 wurde der Trambetrieb durch einen Busbetrieb ersetzt. Ab 2007 fährt die Dolder Zahnradbahn ohne Umsteigen vom Römerhof zum Grand Hotel Dolder.

The Waldhaus station of the Dolderbahn in Zurich
This used to be the end of the line of the former funicular railway. To continue the tour to the Dolder, the passengers had to change to the tramway and later on change onto a bus. Since 1970 the opening of the new cog railway enabled the passenger to reach the final station "Dolder" without changing. (Right hand side: Hotel Waldhaus).

Früher die Endstation der Standseilbahn. Die Fahrgäste nach dem Dolder mussten in eine Strassenbahn und später in einen Bus umsteigen. Seit 1970 können die Fahrgäste ohne Umsteigen mit der Zahnradbahn direkt zur Endstation Dolder gelangen. Rechts sieht man das Hotel Waldhaus.
